1. 100% On-Device & Zero Data Collection
At SpaceKeeper (an OrbitBy product), our policy is simple: we do not collect, store, track, or share your data. SpaceKeeper is built entirely as an on-device native macOS utility. It has zero tracking scripts, zero telemetry trackers, and zero remote analytics.
2. Everything Stays on Your Mac
All features and tools operate strictly on your local machine:
- Disk & Cache Scanning: All file indexing and space calculations happen locally in memory. File paths and names are never sent to external servers.
- Developer & AI Model Scanning: Xcode DerivedData, Docker build layers, and Ollama/HuggingFace checkpoints are analyzed solely via macOS file system APIs.
- Browser Privacy Cleaner: Cache, cookies, and history management for Safari, Chrome, Arc, Zen, and Firefox occur directly on your local disk.
- Cryptographic File Shredder: 3-pass DoD overwriting takes place entirely on your physical drive blocks without logging file contents.
3. Payments & Licensing
License purchases and key issuances are securely handled by Dodo Payments. We never see or store your credit card or banking information. When you activate your license in the app, the key is verified directly with Dodo Payments with a local hardware identifier.
4. No Analytics or Third-Party Trackers
We do not embed third-party analytics SDKs, advertising trackers, or user behavior tracking into the SpaceKeeper macOS app. You own the software and your disk inspection remains 100% confidential.
5. Children's Privacy
SpaceKeeper does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
